Aziz Daneshrad
Aziz Daneshrad ( fa, عزیز دانشراد; 1920–1991) also known as Gabay ( fa, گبای) and Kiyai ( fa, کیائی) was an Persian Jews, Iranian Jewish political activist who represented Jews in the Assembly for the Final Review of the Constitution. His was a proponent of left-wing politics while also advocating Jewish political movements, ethnoreligious identity. Early life and education Aziz Daneshrad-Kiyai was born in 1920 in Golpayegan, Isfahan Province. His father was a rabbi and a merchant in ''bazaar''. He obtained a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Tehran and then became a civil servant. Political career During the rule of Pahlavi dynasty, Daneshrad was a dissident associated with the Tudeh Party of Iran and he was imprisoned in the 1960s and the 1970s. Assembly For The Final Review Of The Constitution
The Assembly for the Final Review of the Constitution (AFRC; fa, مجلس بررسی نهایی قانون اساسی) also known as the Assembly of Experts for Constitution ( fa, مجلس خبرگان قانون اساسی), was a constituent assembly in Iran that was convened in 1979 to condense and ratify the Draft document, draft prepared beforehand for the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It was mandated by the Council of the Islamic Revolution after the March 1979 Iranian Islamic Republic referendum, March 1979 referendum for regime change, and composed of 73 seats including four Reserved political positions, reserved for ethnoreligious minorities and the rest representing Provinces of Iran, provincial constituencies on a basis of population. Habib Elghanian
Habib (Habibollah) Elghanian ( fa, حبیب (حبیبالله) القانیان, 5 April 1912 – 9 May 1979) was a prominent Iranian Jewish businessman and philanthropist who served as the president of the Tehran Jewish Society and acted as the symbolic head of the Iranian Jewish community in the 1970s. He was arrested and sentenced to death by an Islamic revolutionary tribunal shortly after the Iranian Revolution for charges including corruption, contacts with Israel and Zionism, and "friendship with the enemies of God", and was executed by firing squad. He was the first Jew and businessman to be executed by the Council of the Islamic Revolution.
