Azhagarsamy
Azhagarsamy is a 1999 Tamil language drama film directed by Sundar C. The film stars Sathyaraj and Roja. The film, produced by Malar Balu, had musical score by Deva and was released on 10 December 1999. Plot A rich landlord gave money to Thayama, a pregnant woman, to save her husband and she later swore to give her baby in return. Her husband died and she gave her baby. Azhagarsamy was brought-up by the landlord and the landlord decides to marry Azhagarsamy to his daughter Suja, an arrogant city girl. Thayama begins to work in Azhagarsamy's house. Later, Azhagarsamy marries Suja who hates and insults him every time. Vinu Chakravarthy who wants to grab Suja's property tries to give milk with poison to Suja who is pregnant. Thayamma who realises the problem sacrifices her life by drinking the milk and Azhagarsamy learns that Thayamma was his mother. In the end, Suja unites with Azhagarsamy. Sundar C
Vinayagar Sundar Vel (born 21 January 1966), known professionally as Sundar C., is an Indian film director, actor and producer. He has directed over 34 films in Tamil and acted in 17 movies as the protagonist. Ponnambalam (actor)
Ponnambalam (born 11 November 1963) is an Indian actor and stuntman who has predominantly appeared in Tamil language films. He is best known for playing antagonistic roles in Indian films during the 1990s, notably appearing in films such as ''Nattamai'' (1994), '' Muthu'' (1995) and ''Amarkalam'' (1999). Later in his career, Ponnambalam also appeared in a few leading roles, while also taking up the mantle of director and producer. Singamuthu (born 8 December 1958) is an Indian actor who has appeared in Tamil language films as a comedian. Vasu, popularly known as Halwa Vasu, (died 17 August 2017) was a comedian in the Tamil film industry in India. He worked in around 900 films. Career Vasu who hailed from Madurai district, came to Chennai to work in cinemas after his graduation. Vasu worked as an assistant to director-actor Manivannan, he carved a niche for himself in comedy films and has also acted alongside the likes of Vadivelu. He was given the name "Halwa Vasu" after the film ''Amaidhi Padai'' (1994), in which he brings halwa which is adulterated with abin, a drug, by the antagonist in the movie who uses it to rape an innocent girl. Devanesan Chokkalingam, also known as Deva, is a south Indian film composer and singer who predominantly works in Tamil Cinema. Periya Karuppa Thevar (1936 - 18 September 2012) was a Tamil film character artiste and folk singer who appeared in Tamil-language films. Film career PKT was part of the drama troupe floated by veteran Sankaradoss Swamigal more than fifty years ago. Like many actors of his era, he had made the grade to films as an actor after toiling hard on stage where he used to be quite popular for his acting as well as in singing many folk songs. Subramaniyan Karuppaiya (born 25 May 1939), known by his stage name Goundamani, is an Indian actor and comedian who works in Tamil cinema. Sujatha (10 December 1952 – 6 April 2011) was an Indian actress who performed and staggered in a number of unique and variety of characters in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films- in addition to few in Kannada and Hindi languages as well. The actress was best known for restraint and subtlety in portrayal of varied emotions. After starring in numerous Malayalam films in her mother-tongue, Sujatha later got introduced to the Tamil film industry by veteran director K. Balachander and producer P.R. Govindarajan as a protagonist in her first Tamil film, ''Aval Oru Thodar Kathai'' (1974). It was a critically acclaimed film and launched the actress's first commecrical breakthrough in her acting career.
