The Azerbaijan national under-19 football team is the national football team of Azerbaijan and is controlled by the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan. Association Of Football Federations Of Azerbaijan
The Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA; az, Azərbaycan Futbol Federasiyaları Assosiasiyası, AFFA) is the governing body of football in Azerbaijan. Formed in 1992, it is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the amateur and professional game in its territory. AFFA sanctions all competitive football matches within its remit at national level, and indirectly at local level through the AFFA Amateur League. It runs numerous competitions, the most famous of which is the Azerbaijan Cup. It is also responsible for appointing the management of the men's, women's and youth national football teams and leagues. AFFA is a member of both UEFA and FIFA. 2008 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship
The final tournament of the 2008 UEFA European Under-19 Championship was the 24th UEFA European Under-19 Championship, UEFA's premier competition for players under the age of 19. The tournament was held in the Czech Republic with matches played from 14 July to 26 July 2008. Players born after 1 January 1989 were eligible to participate in this competition. 2020 UEFA European Under-19 Championship
The 2020 UEFA European Under-19 Championship (also known as UEFA Under-19 Euro 2020) was scheduled to be the 19th edition of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship (69th edition if the Under-18 and Junior eras are included), the annual international youth football championship organised by UEFA for the men's under-19 national teams of Europe. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament was initially postponed, rescheduled and was cancelled in October 2020. Northern Ireland, which last hosted the tournament in 2005, was selected as host by UEFA on 9 December 2016. As in previous editions held in even-numbered years, the tournament was due to act as the UEFA qualifiers for the FIFA U-20 World Cup. The 2019 UEFA European Under-19 Championship (also known as UEFA Under-19 Euro 2019) was the 18th edition of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship (68th edition if the Under-18 and Junior eras are included), the annual international youth football championship organised by UEFA for the men's under-19 national teams of Europe. Armenia, which was selected by UEFA on 9 December 2016, hosted the final tournament.
