Ayudha Porattam
''Ayudha Porattam'' () is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by actor Jai Akash and starring himself, Preethi Minal and Anita Reddy in the lead roles. Plot The employees of Field Weapon Factory (F. W. F), a company that manufactures weapons and sends them to Sri Lanka, are sent to Sri Lanka by their boss. After arriving in Sri Lanka, Bhumika (Preethi Minal) falls in love with Jai (Jai Akash), and Rekha (Anita Reddy) falls in love with another man. Ganesh (Theepetti Ganesan) is also in love with Rekha. Jai and Ganesh smoke ganja (marijuana), but Jai stops the bad habit for Bhumika. While the employees are feeling the nation, they meet a freedom fighter leader (Jai Akash) who wants to kill the employees as their company is responsible for the deaths of many people. Jai Akash, also known as Akash, is an Indian actor, who acted as hero in Telugu and Tamil films. He has acted in a Kannada film as hero too. Dappan Koothu
Dappankuthu (or simply Kuthu) is a folk dance and music genre with an emphasis on percussion performed in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is one of several popular genres employed in film music, mainly in Tamil cinema and other South films, filmed and produced by people of Tamil culture. Unlike classical Indian dances such as bharatanatyam or kathakali, dappankuthu is relatively informal in that it has no structured, repeated steps and dancers do not learn through formal dance classes. Ranjith K. Govind (born 21 February 1977), also known as K.G. Ranjith, is an Indian playback singer, working in the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film industries and has sung more than 2500 songs.
