''Ayu-mi-x 6: Gold'' and ''Ayu-mi-x 6: Silver'' are two remix albums released by Japanese pop singer Ayumi Hamasaki on March 26, 2008. They are the sixth and seventh entries in Hamasaki's ''Ayu-mi-x'' remix album series, and the first ''Ayu-mi-x'' albums since 2003's Ayu-mi-x V. Ayumi Hamasaki
is a Japanese singer, songwriter, record producer, actress, model, spokesperson, and entrepreneur. By 2002, Hamasaki had earned the nickname "Empress of J-pop" due to her popularity in Japan and throughout Asia. Due to her success and relevance throughout her career, she is considered one of the top solo female artists of the Heisei era, both for her influence on various fashion trends and the music industry. Drum And Bass
Drum and bass (also written as drum & bass or drum'n'bass and commonly abbreviated as D&B, DnB, or D'n'B) is a genre of electronic dance music characterized by fast breakbeats (typically 165–185 beats per minute) with heavy bass and sub-bass lines, samples, and synthesizers. The genre grew out of the UK's rave scene in the 1990s. The popularity of drum and bass at its commercial peak ran parallel to several other UK dance styles. A major influence was the original Jamaican dub and reggae sound that influenced jungle's bass-heavy sound. Another feature of the style is the complex syncopation of the drum tracks' breakbeat. Mad Professor (born Neil Joseph Stephen Fraser, 1955, Georgetown, Guyana) is a Guyanese-born British dub music producer and engineer known for his original productions and remix work. He is considered one of the leading producers of dub music's second generation and was instrumental in transitioning dub into the digital age. Coldcut are an English electronic music duo composed of Matt Black and Jonathan More. Soul Central are a British music production duo originally founded by Andy Ward and Paul Timothy but now consisting of Matt Mckillop and Paul Timothy. Biography When Andy Ward was part of the original line up they had a number 6 hit in 2005 with "Strings of Life (Stronger on My Own)" on the UK Singles Chart, a cover of "Strings of Life" by Derrick May. It also reached number 1 on the UK Dance Chart. The track featured vocals from house singer Kathy Brown and was released through Defected Records. "Glitter"/"Fated" was Hamasaki's first single of 2007 and first single in over a year, since the release of "Blue Bird" in June 2006. Jean-Baptiste de Laubier (born 2 April 1979), known professionally as Para One, is a French electronic music producer and film director. Music career Laubier first came to prominence as one of the main producers of French rap group TTC, and was responsible for producing their 2004 signature tune ''Dans Le Club''. With fellow TTC producer Tacteel he made up the now defunct live/improvised electro outfit Fuck-A-Loop (whose only recorded material prior to 2007's nine-hour digital album ''The Early Aughties'' was a 2006 remix of Ellen Allien's ''Down''). Hamasaki's fourth extended play, ''&'' consists of four recordings; "Ourselves", "Greatful Days", "Hanabi: Episode II", and "Theme of A-Nation 03", with three additional instrumentals of the first three tracks.
