Axis Mundi (album)
''Axis Mundi'' is the fourth studio album by technical death metal band Decrepit Birth, released on July 21, 2017, via Nuclear Blast (in North America) and Agonia (in Europe and the rest of the world). It is the band's first studio album to feature drummer Sam Paulicelli and bassist Sean Martinez, as well as the first album since 2010's ''Polarity''. Recording and release ''Axis Mundi'' was recorded during 2015–2016 at various studios: drums part were recorded by Ryan Forsyth at Private Ear Studios in Winnipeg, Canada; bass and guitars part were recorded at guitarist Matt Sotelo and bassist Sean Martinez's own studios respectively. Stefano Morabito handled the mixing and mastering duties at 16th Cellar Studios in Rome, Italy. The cover artwork was once again designed by artist Dan Seagrave. Decrepit Birth
Decrepit Birth is an American death metal band from Santa Cruz, California. They have released two studio albums through Unique Leader Records and two through Nuclear Blast, and a demo independently. All of their studio albums feature artwork by renowned fantasy artist Dan Seagrave. In October 2021, it was announced vocalist Bill Robinson was taking an "extended hiatus" from the band and was being replaced by Mac Smith, who would tour with the band for the foreseeable future. However, in March 2022, the band announced an upcoming tour in July and that Bill Robinson would be returning on vocals. James Alan Hetfield (born August 3, 1963) is an American musician. He is the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, co-founder and a main songwriter of heavy metal band Metallica. Doug Cerrito (born November 1970) is an American musician best known as the former guitarist for New York death metal band Suffocation from 1990 until their split in 1998. He also played on death metal band Hate Eternal Hate Eternal is a death metal band from St. Petersburg, Florida. The band currently consists of founding guitarist/vocalist Erik Rutan and bassist J.
