"Axis" is a song by English synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys from their twelfth studio album, ''Electric'' (2013). It was released on 1 May 2013 as the album's lead single. Background "Axis" was written during the writing sessions for the duo's previous album, '' Elysium'' (2012). The song was produced by Stuart Price. Release "Axis" was released digitally on 1 May 2013 and as a twelve-inch single on 15 July 2013. Boys Noize
Alexander Ridha (born 22 August 1982), better known by his stage name Boys Noize, is a Berlin-based German-Iraqi electronic music record producer, songwriter, and DJ. It is similar to the name of Ridha's label, Boysnoize Records, which he established in 2005. Ridha has remixed the work of a number of other artists, including Snoop Dogg and Depeche Mode. In 2019, he produced Frank Ocean's song " DHL". Electric Tour
The Electric Tour is synthpop duo Pet Shop Boys' 2013–2015 world tour in support of their two albums Elysium and Electric. The first leg started on 22 March and ended in October in Mexico. The second leg of the tour was announced in January 2014, starting at the Coachella festival in California in April. A third leg of the tour was announced in February 2015, starting at the Festival Contempopranea in Badajoz, Spain. Notably, the tour was announced on 5 December 2012 even before the announcement of Electric, the album bearing the same name with the tour.
