Axel Preisler
Axel Preisler(12 May 1871 – 25 September 1930) was a Danish architect. History Preisler was born in Odense where his father was a merchant. He completed a carpenter's apprenticeship in his home town and studied at Odense Technical College before enrolling at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts' school of architecture in Copenhagen in 1890. He worked as an assistant in the architectural practices of Valdemar Ingemann, Vilhelm Dahlerup and Heinrich Wenck propr to his graduation in 1899. He was represented at Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition in 1918, 1921 and 1922. He was also active in the Architects' Association of Denmark, Architects' Association and was its chairman in 1930. Bülowsvej
Bülowsvej is a street in the Frederiksberg district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs from Gammel Kongevej in the south to Åboulevard in the north, linking Madvigs Allé with Brohusgade. The University of Copenhagen's Frederiksberg Campus (University of Copenhagen), Frederiksberg Campus dominates the west side of the street with its large main building from 1895. The east side of the street is home to one of Denmark's oldest neighbourhoods of single family detached homes. Nakskov
Nakskov is a town in south Denmark. It is situated in Lolland municipality in Region Sjælland on the western coast of the island of Lolland. The town has a population of 12,495 (1 January 2022). To the west is Nakskov Fjord, an inlet from the Langeland Belt (''Langelandsbælt'') that runs between the islands of Lolland and Langeland. Strandboulevarden (literally "Beach Boulevard") is a major street in the Østerbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs from Fridtjof Nansens Plads as in the south to Østerbrogade in the north, linking Kristianiagade with Jagtvej. History Decided by the City Council in 1894 and opened in 1897, Strandboulevarden was founded in connection with the establishment of the Freeport of Copenhagen in the mid-1890s and the opening of the railway between Hellerup and Østerport station, Østerport which moved the coastline north of Copenhagen several hundred eastwards in the mid-1890s. Falkoner Allé
Falkoner Alle ( lit. "Falconer Avenue") is one of the main streets of Frederiksberg in Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs from Frederiksberg Town Hall Square in the south to Ågade on the border with Nørrebro in the north, linking Allégade with Jagtvej. Fåborg
Faaborg or Fåborg () is an old port town located on Faaborg Fjord in Faaborg-Midtfyn municipality on the island of Funen in Denmark. Grønningen is a street in central Copenhagen, Denmark, connecting Bredgade and the intersecting street Esplanaden, Copenhagen, Esplanaden to Oslo Plads in front of Østerport Station along the southwestern margin of the fortification Kastellet, Copenhagen, Kastellet. It lends its name to the artists' cooperative Grønningen which was originally based in the street. History The triangular area between Esplanaden, Store Kongensgade (Nyboder) and Kastellet was from 1782 home to a ropewalk. It was later converted into a Guard Hussars barracks. At the turn of the 20th century, it was decided to demolish the outdated installation to make way for high-end apartment buildings.
