''Awake'' is the third studio album by Japanese rock band Wands. The album was released with new members. The album includes all singles released by new members of Wands. The album was released on October 27, 1999 under B-Gram Records label. It reached #18 on the Oricon charts for its first week with 16,940 sold copies. The album charted for 3 weeks and sold 25,640 copies. Wands (band)
(stylized as WANDS) is a Japanese rock band formed in 1991 and active until 2000 under the label B-Gram Records. In 2019, the band reunited with a new vocalist, Daishi Uehara, and two former members, Shibasaki and Kimura, under the D-Go recording label. In the span of 29 years, the band has had three lead vocalists and changed instrumental members five times. Garnet Crow
Garnet Crow (stylized as GARNET CROW) was a Japanese pop/rock band formed in 1999 and associated with the Giza Studio record label. Members include Yuri Nakamura, Hitoshi Okamoto, Nana Azuki, and Hirohito Furui, with Nakamura leading on vocals. Music produced by Garnet Crow has its roots in the neo acoustic genre, and representative works include "Flying", "Yume Mita Ato De", and "Spiral". Despite prolific early singles, the band neither performed live nor appeared on TV prior to 2002. The mixed composition of Garnet Crow and Nakamura's deep vocals set the group apart from its contemporaries. Nazo (album)
is the debut studio album of Japanese singer-songwriter Miho Komatsu. It was released on 3 December 1997 in Amemura-O-Town Record. Background The album includes two previously released singles, Nazo and Kagayakeru Hoshi. Several of her songs were originally written for other bands: "Sabitsuita Machine Gun De Ima Wo Uchinukou" for Wands, "Aoi Sora Ni Deaeta" for Arisa Tsujio as the ''Chūka Ichiban!'' anime theme song, "Kono Machi De Kimi to Kurishitai" for Field of View, and "Kimi ga Inai Natsu" for Deen. Toki No Tsubasa
is the 9th album of Zard and was released on February 15, 2001 under B-Gram Records label. Background Album was released for 10th anniversary of ZARD's debut. The album consist of five previously released singles between years 1999-2000. Two famous songs were remixed for debut anniversary celebration: Makenaide and Yureru Omoi. Among of all released original albums, Toki no Tsubasa is only out of print neither available on iTunes. The official statement has never been announced for its discontinuation. On July 26, 2021, it was announced that all 11 of ZARD's studio albums would be re-released as part of its 30th anniversary campaign on September 15. Ten of them are being released as remastered editions, while the re-issue of ''Toki no Tsubasa'' is a re-arranged edition with all ten original songs remixed by Yumeto Tsurusawa. Miho Komatsu
is a former Japanese singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Kobe, Japan, Komatsu began her career as a songwriter, writing "Kono Machi de Kimi to Kurashitai" for Field of View. In May 1997, she released her debut single " Nazo", which served as the theme song to the Japanese anime series ''Case Closed''. The song peaked at number nine on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart in Japan and was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). Her debut album of the same title (1997) peaked at number five on the Oricon Weekly Albums Chart in Japan. After releasing her first compilation album ''Miho Komatsu Best ~once more~'' (2006), which peaked at number 21 in Japan, she retired from music industry with no announcement. Keiko Utoku
is a Japanese singer and songwriter under UK Sweet label. Nana Azuki
(born July 26, 1974) is a Japanese musical lyricist and keyboardist under Giza Studio label. She is a former member of the Japanese pop band Garnet Crow, primarily as the lead songwriter and keyboardist. Biography Since she was 4, and until she was 19, she took flute and piano lessons. After graduating from college in 1999, she began showing off her talents in a number of auditions. Her earlier works were associated with Maki Ohguro, Deen, Field of View, WAG and Wands. After creating the band Garnet Crow in 1999 as a indie band and in 2000 as a major band, she has been continuing providing work to a number of Giza Studio artists as Takaoka Ai, Shiori Takei, Hayami Kishimoto and Sayuri Iwata.
