Awais bin Bashir ( ar, أُوَيْس ٱبْن عَامِر ٱبْن جَزْء ٱبْن مَالِك ٱلْقَرَنِيّ, ), also spelled Uways or Owais, was a Muslim from Yemen who lived during the lifetime of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.Beale, ''Oriental Bibliotheca'' His burial place is in Raqqa, Syria. Awais Zia (; born 1 September 1986) is a Pakistani cricketer. He is primarily a left handed batsman and right arm off spin bowler. Domestic and franchise career As a youngster, Zia got introduced to the game playing street cricket in his village of Bhaun, before playing club cricket in Chakwal.
