Avinyonet del Penedès is a municipality in the ''comarca'' of the Alt Penedès in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated in the south-east of the ''comarca'', and is served by the N-340 road between Barcelona and Tarragona. The ''ajuntament'' (town hall) is in Les Cabòries. Olèrdola
Olèrdola is a municipality in the ''comarca'' of the Alt Penedès in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the northern side of the Garraf massif, and the highest point of the municipality is the '' Puig de l'Àliga'' at 468 m. Olèrdola castle controlled the area of the Penedès Depression in the Early Middle Ages, reaching the height of its significance when its castle dominated the region under the control of the rebellious Mir Geribert, "Prince of Olèrdola". Its importance declined from the twelfth century and its administrative role was taken by Vilafranca del Penedès. The territory has been inhabited since the Neolithic period, and Iberic and Roman remains are juxtaposed with the ruins of the castle. Olivella
Olivella is a municipality in Catalonia, in the province of Barcelona, Spain. It is situated in the comarca of Garraf. History The first known village in the area was founded in 992 around a castle known as ''Castell vell''. The inhabitants lived off dryland agriculture. This initial nucleus was almost abandoned after the black plague caused numerous deaths. The area was resettled in the 14th century and gradually prospered. Olesa De Bonesvalls
Olesa de Bonesvalls is a village and municipality in the Alt Penedès comarca in Catalonia, Spain. Until 1990 it was included in Garraf comarca. It is located in the Garraf natural park, and includes its highest peak Montau, at 653m. The land is stony karst with many caves, notably "Avenc de l'Esquerrà" at 348 m, the deepest in Spain. Its most notable building is Hospital de Cervelló, a fortified hostel complex for travellers dating from 1262, which has remained in good condition. Its economy is based mainly around agriculture, predominantly vineyards and orchards, and small local industry. Its population was 1,735 in 2014. The municipality is traversed by the road between the towns of Avinyonet del Penedès and Gavà.
