Aveo Group
Aveo Group is an Australian company, and a leading owner, operator and manager of over 90 retirement and aged care communities across Australia. The retirement communities are located in Queensland, New South Wales, SA, Victoria (Australia), Victoria and Tasmania, and as of 2021, Aveo provides senior living choices for over 12,000 residents. The head office is located in Sydney, with corporate offices in Brisbane and Melbourne. Aveo is owned by Brookfield Asset Management. In November 2019 shareholders approved a takeover offer by Brookfield Asset Management Inc. and Aveo is delisted from the ASX. Brisbane's first integrated retirement living community, Aveo Newstead, won the Nettletontribe Award for Design Award at the 2018 Property Council's Retirement Living Awards. In 2017, a class action was lodged against Aveo for its resident contracts involving unconscionable conduct and misleading conduct. Chevrolet Aveo
The Chevrolet Aveo ( ) is a subcompact car (B-segment) marketed by General Motors since 2002. Originally marketed as the Daewoo Kalos, takeover of Daewoo Motors by General Motors (GM) also saw the car being marketed under seven brands ( Chevrolet, Daewoo, ZAZ, Holden, Pontiac, Ravon and Suzuki) in 120 countries, with the Aveo nameplate being the most commonly used one. The second-generation Aveo, developed by GM Korea, was introduced in 2011 and was also marketed as the Chevrolet Sonic in several markets such as in the Americas, Japan, Middle East, South Africa and several Southeast Asian markets. Production of the second-generation model ended in October 2020. Since 2017, GM imported the Chevrolet Sail sedan from China to be marketed in Mexico and other Central American countries as the Aveo. Chevrolet Sail
The Chevrolet Sail () is a subcompact car produced by SAIC-GM, a joint venture of General Motors in China. Launched in 2001, it was sold as the Buick Sail in China in both in sedan and wagon form which were both based on Opel Corsa#Corsa B, Opel Corsa B. Following the introduction of the Chevrolet brand in China in 2005, the car received a facelift and its name was changed to "Chevrolet Sail" and "Sail SRV". In 2010, the Sail was completely redesigned, it was fully developed by SAIC-GM and offered sedan and hatchback variations. Exports began to Chile and Peru; it has also been assembled in Ecuador, and other developing countries in North Africa and the Middle East.
