Authentic Croatian Peasant Party
The Authentic Croatian Peasant Party ( hr, Autohtona hrvatska seljačka stranka), or, translated more literally, the Autochthonous Croatian Peasant Party, is a centre-right political party in Croatia. History Authentic Croatian Peasant Party was founded in Zagreb on 14 March 2007. First party president was Jasenko Stipac. The party refers to the tradition of Stjepan Radić's HPSS. According to the Party's statute, "it is in particular committed to the promotion of the interests of farmers, workers, and intelligence of the Croatian nation". Party's values are "honesty, faith, family, patriotism and labor." Alliance for Croatia ( hr, Savez za Hrvatsku) was a right-wing electoral alliance in Croatia. European Parliament Election, 2013 (Croatia)
European Parliament elections were held in Croatia for the first time on 14 April 2013 to elect twelve Members of the European Parliament. The members served the remainder of the Parliament's 2009–2014 term after Croatia entered the European Union on 1 July 2013. The country formed a single constituency, with members elected by proportional representation using open lists. Despite opinion polling predicting a decisive victory of the governing centre left SDP-led coalition, the centre right HDZ-led coalition won a razor-thin plurality of the vote. The turnout of just 20.8% was the lowest turnout in a national election in modern Croatian history. 2020 Croatian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Croatia on 5 July 2020. They were the tenth parliamentary elections since the first multi-party elections in 1990 and elected the 151 members of the Croatian Parliament. 140 Members of Parliament were elected from geographical electoral districts in Croatia, three MPs were chosen by the Croatian diaspora and eight MPs came from the ranks of citizens registered as belonging to any of the 22 constitutionally recognized national minorities. During April 2020, there had been widespread media speculation that the election would be called earlier than originally planned, due to the uncertainty created by the still-ongoing worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The Key of Croatia ( hr, Ključ Hrvatske) is a populist political party in Croatia, formed out of an anti-eviction group of the same name. The party changed its name on 21 May 2022 from its then name Human Shield the group opposes foreclosures by occupying property and forming a " human shield", hence the name. 2011 Croatian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Croatia on Sunday, 4 December 2011 to elect 151 members to the Croatian Parliament. They were the sixth parliamentary election in Croatia since independence. Elections were held in 10 electoral districts inside Croatia (each electing 14 members of parliament), one electoral district for Croatian citizens living abroad (3 members of parliament), and one electoral district for national minorities (8 members of parliament). Candidate lists have to win more than 5% of the votes in an electoral district in order to be represented in Parliament. The Social Democratic Party of Croatia ( hr, Socijaldemokratska partija Hrvatske, SDP) is a social-democratic political party in Croatia. The SDP is anti-fascist, progressive, and strongly pro-European. Kukuriku Coalition
The Restart Coalition ( hr, Restart koalicija) is a centre-left political alliance in Croatia. The coalition was formed in 2010 as the Kukuriku Coalition (''Kukuriku koalicija''). This somewhat facetious name meaning 'cock-a-doodle-doo', taken from a restaurant of the same name in Kastav where the coalition leaders first convened in July 2009, became well known and was eventually taken as the coalition's official name.
