The Australian cricket team played Pakistan national cricket team, Pakistan in a five-match One Day International series and one Twenty20 match starting from 22 April 2009 to 7 May 2009 in the United Arab Emirates. The series was named 'The Chapal Cup' and is the first game since 2002. Background The Australia national cricket team was scheduled to tour Pakistan in March and April 2008, to play three Test cricket, Test matches and five One Day Internationals. The tour was cancelled by Australia due to concerns about the security of playing in the country. Saeed Ajmal SI ( Punjabi, ; born 14 October 1977) is a Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer, who played all forms of the game. He is a right-arm off-spin bowler who bats right handed. Benjamin William Hilfenhaus (born 15 March 1983) is an Australian former professional cricketer who played for Tasmania in Australian domestic cricket and for the Australia national cricket team. ; born 28 May 1974) is a former Pakistani cricket coach and former international cricketer. Misbah captained Pakistan in all formats and is former head coach and former chief selector of the Pakistan national team. Callum James Ferguson (born 21 November 1984) is a former Australian cricketer and commentator who has represented Australia in all three forms of international cricket. Rao Iftikhar Anjum ( ur, ) (born 1 December 1980) is a former Pakistani cricketer right arm medium fast bowler and right hand batsman. Rao Iftikhar Anjum is another addition to Pakistan's seemingly endless production line of pace bowlers.
