Australia Women's Cricket Team In India In 2022–23
The Australia women's cricket team toured India in December 2022 to play five Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed the schedule for the tour in November 2022. Both teams used the series as preparation for the 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup tournament. Australia won the series 4–1, after Heather Graham took a hat-trick in the final match. Squads Amanda-Jade Wellington was added to Australia's squad after the first T20I, replacing Jess Jonassen who was ruled out due to a hamstring injury. Australia's captain Alyssa Healy was ruled out of the last match of the series due to an injury, with Tahlia McGrath Tahlia May McGrath (born 10 November 1995) is an Australian cricketer. Harmanpreet Kaur
Harmanpreet Kaur ( ; born 8 March 1989) is an Indian cricketer who serves as the captain of the India Women's National Cricket Team in all formats . She plays as an all-rounder for the Indian women's cricket team; and was awarded the Arjuna Award for Cricket in the year 2017 by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. In November 2018, she became the first woman for India to score a century in a Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) match. In October 2019, during the series against South Africa, she became the first cricketer for India, male or female, to play in 100 international Twenty20 matches. Early life Kaur was born on 8 March 1989 in Moga, Punjab, to Harmandar Singh Bhullar, a Volleyball and Basketball player and Satwinder Kaur. Her parents are baptised Sikhs.
