Australia's Funniest Home Videos
''Australia's Funniest Home Videos'' (''AFHV'', also known as ''Funniest Home Videos'' or simply ''The Video Show'', originally ''Graham Kennedy's Funniest Home Video Show'' in its first season and ''Australia's Funniest Home Video Show'' until 2004) is an Australian television show on the Nine Network that presents home videos sent in by viewers. It is the Australian counterpart to ''America's Funniest Home Videos'', which was also created by Vin Di Bona. The show was broadcast from March 1990 until February 2014. Although Nine did not officially cancel the show, in 2015 they stated that they had no plans to produce new episodes. Kato-chan Ken-chan Gokigen TV
was a Japanese television variety show aired on Tokyo Broadcasting System around the mid-1980s. Starring Ken Shimura and Cha Kato, former members of the group The Drifters from ''Hachiji Dayo! Zen'in Shugo'', the irreverent and satirical program would poke fun at contemporary society in Japan, and would feature comedy vignettes similar to those found on ''The Benny Hill Show'' or ''The Carol Burnett Show''. Leslie Nielsen once made a special appearance on the show as well. The duo also had a PC Engine video game, '' Kato-chan and Ken-chan'', based on their antics, filled with toilet humor, and featuring them as the game's playable characters. A home movie is a short amateur film or video typically made just to preserve a visual record of family activities, a vacation, or a special event, and intended for viewing at home by family and friends. Originally, home movies were made on photographic film in formats that usually limited the movie-maker to about three minutes per roll of costly camera film. The vast majority of amateur film formats lacked audio, shooting silent film. The 1970s saw the advent of consumer camcorders that could record an hour or two of video on one relatively inexpensive videocassette which also had audio and did not need to be developed the way film did. Jacki MacDonald (born Jenine MacDonald; 26 November 1953) in Blackall, Queensland is a former Australian television personality, who now works in radio broadcasting.
