Austintown Fitch High School is a public high school in Austintown, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Austintown Local School District. Athletic teams compete as the Austintown Fitch Falcons in the Ohio High School Athletic Association as a member of the All-American Conference. The original structure was located at 5680 Mahoning Ave. Classes moved to the new high school in 1968. The original structure has been demolished. Irvin J. Holdash (September 19, 1929 – December 18, 1992), sometimes known by the nickname "Huck", was an American football player. He grew up in Austintown, Ohio, and played college football for the North Carolina Tar Heels football team at the center and linebacker position from 1948 to 1950. He was selected by the All-America Board as a first-team center and by the Associated Press as a first-team linebacker on the 1950 College Football All-America Team. Wallace Robert Bell (January 10, 1965 – October 14, 2013) was an American umpire in Major League Baseball (MLB) who worked in the National League from 1992 to 1999 and in both major leagues from 2000 to 2013.
