Austin Wayne Self (born March 5, 1996) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes part-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, driving the No. 22 Chevrolet Silverado for his family team, AM Racing and part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 32 Chevrolet Camaro for Jordan Anderson Racing. He also has competed in the ARCA Menards Series, previously driving full-time in it for two years before moving up to the Truck Series, although he has continued to drive in the series part-time, most recently in 2019, where he drove the No. 32 Chevrolet for Win-Tron Racing. 2019 ARCA Menards Series
The 2019 ARCA Menards Series was the 67th season of the ARCA Menards Series. Christian Eckes of Venturini Motorsports won the championship over teammate Michael Self. Eckes became the first champion since Tim Steele in 1997 to win the title after missing a race during the season. On February 9, 2019, hours before the season-opening Lucas Oil 200, ARCA announced that the series would be renamed to the ARCA Menards Series for at least 2019 and 2020. Martinsville Speedway
Martinsville Speedway is a NASCAR-owned stock car racing short track in Ridgeway, Virginia, just south of Martinsville. At in length, it is the shortest track in the NASCAR Cup Series. The track was also one of the first paved oval tracks in stock car racing, being built in 1947 by partners H. Clay Earles, Henry Lawrence, and Sam Rice, nearly a year before NASCAR was officially formed. It is also the only race track that has been on the NASCAR circuit from its beginning in 1948.
