Austin Dean
Austin James Dean (born October 14, 1993) is an American professional baseball left fielder for the LG Twins of the KBO League. He was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the fourth round of the 2012 Major League Baseball draft. He made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut in 2018 with the Marlins and has also played for the St. Louis Cardinals and San Francisco Giants. Career Dean was born in Spring, Texas. In his senior year at Klein Collins High School in Spring, Dean hit .379 with 10 Double (baseball), doubles, 12 home runs, and 44 Run batted in, RBIs, and was a second-team All American selection, while playing third base. Miami Marlins Dean was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the fourth round of the 2012 Major League Baseball draft out of high school. The Greensboro Grasshoppers are a Minor League Baseball team based in Greensboro, North Carolina. They are members of the South Atlantic League and are the High-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Florida Complex League Marlins are a Rookie-level affiliate of the Miami Marlins, competing in the Florida Complex League of Minor League Baseball. Outfielder
An outfielder is a person playing in one of the three defensive positions in baseball or softball, farthest from the batter. These defenders are the left fielder, the center fielder, and the right fielder. As an outfielder, their duty is to catch fly balls and ground balls then to return them to the infield for the out or before the runner advances, if there are any runners on the bases. An infielder is a baseball player stationed at one of four defensive "infield" positions on the baseball field.
