According to spiritual beliefs, an aura or energy field is a colored emanation said to enclose a human body or any animal or object. In some esoteric positions, the aura is described as a subtle body. Psychics and holistic medicine practitioners often claim to have the ability to see the size, color and type of vibration of an aura. In spiritual alternative medicine, the human being aura is seen as part of a hidden anatomy that reflects the state of being and health of a client, often understood to even comprise centers of vital force called chakras. Such claims are not supported by scientific evidence and are thus pseudoscience. When tested under scientific controlled experiments, the ability to see auras has not been proven to exist. ''Aura'' is a short novel written by Mexican novelist Carlos Fuentes, first published in 1962 in Mexico. Princess Aura is a fictional character in the Flash Gordon comic strips and serials. She has been portrayed by various actresses in the many ''Flash Gordon'' adaptations in film and television. The Maiden of Finland ( fi, Suomi-neito, sv, Finlands mö) is the national personification of Finland. Personification She is a barefoot young woman in her mid-twenties with blonde hair, blue eyes, wearing a blue and white national costume or a white dress. She was originally called Aura after the Aura River in Turku. As a symbol, the Finnish Maiden has been used since the 19th century when she was pictured as a woman wearing a turreted crown, and then developing as Finland gained a national consciousness and independence. In Greek and Roman mythology, Aura ( grc-gre, Αὔρα, Aúra, breeze , or Αὔρη ) is a minor deity, whose name means "breeze". The plural form, Aurae ( grc-gre, Αὔραι) is sometimes found. According to Nonnus, Aura was the daughter of the Titan Lelantos and the mother, by Dionysus, of Iacchus, a minor deity connected with the Eleusinian mysteries, while Quintus Smyrnaeus makes the Aurae daughters of Boreas, the North-wind. ''Aurae'' was the title of a play by the Athenian comic poet Metagenes, who was contemporary with Aristophanes, Phrynichus, and Plato. Jamie Lou Stenzel (born 15 May 2002), known by her stage name Au/Ra, is an Antiguan-German singer-songwriter. Stenzel released her first single "Concrete Jungle" in 2016, which quickly gained 15 million streams worldwide. Aura Twarowska (born 21 November 1967 as Aurora Eleonora Avram in Lugoj, Romania) is a Romanian mezzo-soprano. She was soloist of the Romanian Opera in Timișoara (1997–2010) and at the Vienna State Opera (2007–2016). Biography Twarowska dedicated herself to music when she was 6 by studying piano, mandolin and singing. After graduating from the Coriolan Brediceanu High School in Lugoj she was admitted to the Faculty of Economics of the West University in Timișoara.
