Augusto Nunes da Silva (born September 25, 1949; Taquaritinga, state of São Paulo) is a Brazilian journalist, writer and commentator. He is one of Brazil's main conservative journalists. Career He was a columnist for Veja magazine, editor-in-chief of R7 and host of the journal of Record News. He was the main interviewer of the Roda Viva program between 2010 and 2014. Jovem Pan is the main Brazilian radio station based in São Paulo, Brazil. Taquaritinga
Taquaritinga is a city in the Central North area of the State of São Paulo, Brazil. The population is 57,364 (2020 est.) in an area of 594 km². The population is formed basically by European descendants (Italians, Spaniards, and Portuguese). Afro-Brazilians, and Japanese-Brazilians are important minority groups. ''Roda Viva'' is a Brazilian talk show produced and broadcast by TV Cultura since 29 September 1986, traditionally on Monday nights, currently airing at 10 PM (BST). Several political leaders, writers, philosophers, artists, and notable people were interviewed in the show. Roda Viva features a host presenter, who serves as a mediator, and several journalists from news outlets. In the program the guest sits on a swivel chair in the middle of a circle of journalists, who are in a higher position. The interviewed person turns to answer the journalist asking the question.
