August Ramsay
August Ramsay (15 March 1859 – 23 July 1943) was a Finnish mathematician, banker and insurance executive. Ramsay was promoted to doctor of philosophy from Imperial Alexander University in 1882. From 1891 Ramsay served as Finland's first insurance reviewer until 1895, when he became CEO of the Finnish Urban Mortgage Fund. From 1897 to 1899, Ramsay served as a member of the Finance Committee and the State Railways Committee. From May to August 1901, Ramsay was a member of the Senate of Finland. From November 1902, Ramsay served as the first managing director of the Mutual Fire Aid Association of Finnish Industrialists until 1913. From 1916 to 1939, Ramsay was a member of the board of directors of the same company and from 1940 to 1943 the chairman of the company's board of directors. Henrik Ramsay
Carl Henrik Wolter Ramsay (31 March 1886 in Helsinki – 25 July 1951 in Visby) was a Finnish politician and an economist from the Swedish People's Party. Ramsay is mostly remembered for the fact that he was sentenced in the war-responsibility trials in 1946. Biography Early life His father was statesman August Ramsay and his mother was Jully Ramsay, a historian. He belonged to a Scottish noble family emigrated to Finland in the 16th century and he was one of the few in Finland entitled to use the title Sir, however, Ramsay did not use the title. Risto Heikki Ryti (; 3 February 1889 – 25 October 1956) served as the fifth president of Finland from 1940 to 1944. Ryti started his career as a politician in the field of economics and as a political background figure during the interwar period. He made a wide range of international contacts in the world of banking and within the framework of the League of Nations. Ryti served (1939–1940) as prime minister during the Winter War of 1939–1940 and the Interim Peace of 1940–1941. Later he became president during the Continuation War of 1941–1944. Otto Stenroth (13 May 1861 in Saarijärvi – 16 December 1939 in Helsinki) was a Finnish lawyer, politician and banker. He served as a member of Kansallis-Osake-Pankki bank executive board from 1889 to 1893, and deputy director general of Kansallis-Osake-Pankki bank executive board from 1893 to 1906. Thereafter, he served as the chairman of the board of Hypoteekkikassa from 1904 to 1908 and 1909 to 1916.
