Audun Østerås
Audun Østerås (born 20 January 1947) is a Norwegian civil servant and politician for the Centre Party. He took the siv.øk. degree at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration in 1972. He then worked as a high school teacher and farmer. He was a member of Høylandet municipal council from 1975 to 1983—sitting one four-year term as deputy mayor—and of Nord-Trøndelag county council from 1978 to 1987. From 1987 to 1994 he was the chief administrative officer of Høylandet, and from 1994 he was the chief administrative officer of Nord-Trøndelag County Municipality. He retired in 2008 and was replaced by Inge Fornes. Siviløkonom (literally "civil economist") is an academic degree issued within the field of business administration. It consists of a 3 year bachelor's degree followed by a two years masters degree and is also a professional title in Norway (with corresponding titles in Denmark and Sweden, see below under "See also"), obtained after the total of 5 years of studies. Høylandet is a municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is part of the Namdalen region. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Høylandet. Other villages include Kongsmoen and Vassbotna. The municipality is the 150th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Nord-Trøndelag (; "North Trøndelag") was a county constituting the northern part of the present-day Trøndelag county in Norway. The county was established in 1804 when the old Trondhjems amt was divided into two: Nordre Trondhjems amt and Søndre Trondhjems amt.
