Audun Sjøstrand
Audun Sjøstrand (born 11 April 1950) is a Norwegian journalist, teacher and crime fiction writer. Biography Sjøstrand was born in Radøy on 11 April 1950. He has been a journalist for the newspaper ''Gula Tidend'', and taught in secondary schools. He made his literary debut in 1985 with the novel ''Hundemordet''. Further novels are ''Ureint trav'' from 1987 and ''Valsekongens fall'' from 1991. Radøy
Radøy is a former municipality in the Nordhordland district of the old Hordaland county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1964 until its dissolution in 2020 when it was merged into the new municipality of Alver in Vestland county. The municipality included almost all of the island of Radøy plus many small surrounding islands. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Manger. Other villages in the municipality included Askeland, Austmarka, Bøvågen, Haugland, Sæbø, and Sletta. Prior to its dissolution in 2020, the municipality is the 372nd largest by area out of the 422 municipalities in Norway. ''Gula Tidend'' (meaning ''Gula Times'') is a former Norwegian newspaper. It was established in 1904 by Johannes Lavik, and disestablished in 1996.
