Audrey Auld Mezera
Audrey Auld-Mezera (''née'' Audrey Auld; 14 January 1964 – 9 August 2015) was an Australian American country music touring singer–songwriter. She had released eleven albums and three EPs on her own Reckless Records label, and had recorded with numerous musicians including Bill Chambers, Kieran Kane, Fred Eaglesmith, Mary Gauthier, Dale Watson, Kasey Chambers, and Carrie Rodriguez. She had songs recorded by various artists and songs placed on the FX TV shows "Justified", "Longmire", "NCIS: New Orleans" and "The Good Guys". She hosted songwriting workshops with inmates in San Quentin Prison in California from 2007 till 2013. Auld-Mezera died of cancer on 9 August 2015, aged 51. The 19th Annual Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards (generally known as ARIA Music Awards or simply The ARIAS) were held on 23 October 2005 at the Sydney Superdome at the Sydney Olympic Park complex, thus continuing the previous year's innovation of televising the awards on Sunday evening. A varied cast of presenters included Merrick and Rosso (who opened the televised show), stand-up comic Dave Hughes, Gretel Killeen and David Hasselhoff. On 14 July 2005 ARIA sought to create a separate standalone 'ARIA Icons: Hall of Fame' event as only one or two acts could be inducted under the old format due to time restrictions. Nina Gerber
Nina Gerber is an American guitarist who first came to attention when she accompanied singer-songwriter Kate Wolf from 1979 until Wolf's death in 1986. Gerber was born and raised in Sebastopol, California. In 1975, Gerber was still at high school when she saw Kate Wolf perform at a Sebastopol pizza parlor, and decided she wanted to play with her, which she first achieved in 1978. Gerber has collaborated with many other artists, mostly folk musicians, including Karla Bonoff. She released her first album, ''Not Before Noon'', in 2001.
