Audenshaw School
Audenshaw School is an all-boys secondary school in Audenshaw, Greater Manchester, England. Previously, the school was known as Audenshaw Grammar School. It opened to boys in 1932. History On 29 July 1932, Audenshaw Grammar School for Boys was opened, providing facilities for 300 pupils. "The school officially opened on Saturday July 23rd at 3.00 pm when the contractors handed the keys to County Alderman J. T. Travis Clegg DL JP. The school remained open until 7:00 pm for inspection by the general public. On 13 September 1932, seventy-six boys walked through the gates of a brand new Grammar School on Hazel Street Audenshaw." Academy (English School)
An academy school in England is a state-funded school which is directly funded by the Department for Education and independent of local authority control. Eric Evans (rugby Union, Born 1921)
Eric Evans, (1 February 1921 – 12 January 1991) was the captain of the England rugby union team from 1956 to 1958. Early life Evans was born on Edge Lane in Droylsden and attended Audenshaw Grammar School. He first played for Old Aldwinians RUFC in the late 1930s and during the war joined Sale RUFC. Zach Clough
Zach Paul John Clough (born 8 March 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Adelaide United. Clough started his career at Bolton Wanderers, having played for them since the age of eight.
