Attrition (film)
''Attrition'', also known as ''Final Mission'', is a 2018 American Wing Chun film directed by Mathieu Weschler and produced by Saradan Media based on a screenplay by Steven Seagal. Starring Seagal, Siu-Wong Fan, and Yu Kang, the film revolves around an ex-special forces operative who comes out of retirement to rescue a Thai girl. ''Attrition'' was released direct-to-DVD on September 24, 2018. Plot Haunted by his violent past as a special forces operative, Axe (Steven Seagal) emigrates to Thailand and converts to Buddhism. Ensconced in a village as an acupuncturist and martial arts practitioner, Axe is one day approached by a Mr Yuen (Sonny Chatwiriyachai); Yuen pleads with him to rescue his eldest daughter, Tara (Ting Sue), who has been kidnapped by a trafficking ring led by QMom (Yu Kang). Steven Seagal
Steven Frederic Seagal (; born April 10, 1952) is an American actor, screenwriter and martial artist. A 7th-dan black belt in aikido, he began his adult life as a martial arts instructor in Japan and eventually ended up running his father-in-law's dojo. He later moved to Los Angeles where he had the same profession. In 1988, Seagal made his acting debut in '' Above the Law''. By 1991, he had starred in four films. In 1992, he played Navy SEAL counter-terrorist expert Casey Ryback in ''Under Siege''. Fan Mei-sheng
Fan Mei-sheng (; born 13 September 1942) also known as Fan Mui-sang, is a prolific Hong Kong Cantonese actor. Fan Mei-sheng started acting in movies from 1964; his first movie was ''The Story of Sue San''. He made his name in Shaw Brothers Studio productions, including the role of 'Black Whirlwind' in ''All Men Are Brothers.'' Through the 1970s and 1980s, he was often cast as the villain in many Hong Kong martial arts films and thrillers. In 1979, Fan replaced Simon Yuen (who died during filming) in '' The Magnificent Butcher''. That, as well as his role as an explosives man in ''The Postman Fights Back'', became one of his best known performances. ''Exit Wounds'' is a 2001 American action film directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak, and starring Steven Seagal and DMX. The film is based on the book of the same name by John Westermann. The book takes place on Long Island, while the film is set in Detroit. Steven Seagal plays Orin Boyd, a police detective notorious for pushing the limits of the law in his quest for justice. It is the second of three films directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak and produced by Joel Silver that focus on martial arts based action in an urban setting with a hip-hop soundtrack and featuring many of the same cast. Rudy Youngblood (born September 21, 1982), is an American actor, musician, dancer, and artist. Early life and background Born in Belton, Texas, Rudy Youngblood grew up with two younger sisters.
