Atlético Semu is an Equatoguinean football club based in the city of Malabo. It currently plays in Equatorial Guinea's top football division the Equatoguinean Primera División. They currently share the newly created Estadio de Malabo with fellow Primera División sides Atlético Malabo, Deportivo Unidad, Sony Elá Nguema, The Panthers and, its rival club, Leones Vegetarianos. History In 2011 Atlético won their first ever major trophy as a football club which was the Equatoguinean Cup, Atlético beat Águilas Verdes 2–1 in the final of the competition. Due to their cup success they played the SuperCup final against 2011 league winners Sony Elá Nguema in which they lost the game 1–0 thanks to goal from Emeka. Estadio De Malabo
Estadio de Malabo is a multi-purpose stadium in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea. It is currently used mostly for football matches. Overview The stadium holds 15,250 and opened in 2007. It is currently the home ground of the Equatorial Guinea national football team. One of the host stadiums for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations, it hosted the final of the Women's African Nations Football cup in 2008. Águilas () is a municipality and seaport of southeastern Spain, in the province of Murcia. It is situated at the southern end of Murcia's Mediterranean coastline, otherwise known as the Costa Cálida, near the border with the Province of Almería. The CAF Confederation Cup, known as the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup for sponsorship purposes, is an annual association football club competition established in 2004 from a merger of the CAF Cup and the African Cup Winners' Cup and organized by CAF. Clubs qualify for the competition based on their performance in their national leagues and cup competitions. It is the second-tier competition of African club football, ranking below the CAF Champions League. The winner of the tournament faces the winner of the aforementioned competition in the following season's CAF Super Cup. 2015 Africa Cup Of Nations
The 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, known as the Orange Africa Cup of Nations, Equatorial Guinea 2015 for sponsorship reasons, was the 30th staging of the Africa Cup of Nations, the international men's football championship of Africa. It was organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and was held from 17 January to 8 February 2015. The tournament was initially scheduled to be hosted by Morocco who later demanded postponement of the event because of the Ebola virus epidemic in West Africa; subsequently Morocco was ruled out as a host country and replaced by Equatorial Guinea. Ivory Coast won the tournament for their second Africa Cup of Nations title, defeating Ghana 9–8 in a penalty shoot-out after the final finished goalless following extra time. Roben Obama Nsue Ondo (born 21 June 1993), also known as Rubén Darío, is an Equatoguinean footballer who plays as a striker for Liga Nacional de Fútbol club Akonangui FC and the Equatorial Guinea national team. The 2012 CAF Confederation Cup (also known as the 2012 Orange CAF Confederation Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the 9th edition of the CAF Confederation Cup, Africa's secondary club football competition organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
