"Atlantic Inferno" is the 27th episode of '' Thunderbirds'', a British Supermarionation television series created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson and filmed by their production company AP Films (APF; later Century 21 Productions) for ITC Entertainment. Written by Alan Fennell and directed by Desmond Saunders, it was first broadcast on 2 October 1966 on ATV London and Anglia Television as the first episode of Series Two. It had its first UK-wide network broadcast on 17 April 1992 on BBC2. David John Morris (born 19 March 1957) is a British author of gamebooks, novels and comics and a designer of computer games and role-playing games. Education Dave Morris graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford, where he read Physics from 1976 until 1979. Writer Morris began his writing career in 1984 by writing the fantasy adventure gamebook ''Crypt of the Vampire'', part of the ''Golden Dragon'' series published by Grafton Books in the UK and Berkley Books in the US. The following year, Morris and Oliver Johnson created the ''Dragon Warriors'' role-playing game. ''Dragon Warriors'' was an attempt at releasing a role-playing game in a series of paperback books. In a 1996 reader poll conducted by ''Arcane'' to determine the fifty most popular roleplaying games of all time, ''Dragon Warriors'' was ranked 48th. A compilation film, or compilation movie is a film composed of scenes and shots taken from two or more prior films and edited together so as to make a new film, whether on the same or a different subject. Thunderbirds Machines
The Thunderbird machines are a series of vehicles imagined for the mid-1960s film and television '' Thunderbirds'' series developed by Gerry Anderson. The released work began with the Supermarionation television series '' Thunderbirds'' and was followed by subsequent feature films '' Thunderbirds Are Go'' and ''Thunderbird 6'' in 1965–68. The series featured a large variety of futuristic air, land and sea vehicles and machines, the majority of which were designed by special effects director Derek Meddings. In the context of the series, most of the advanced machines appearing in the series belonged to the International Rescue organisation and were used during their rescues.
