Maiya Bisunkhe
The Mahiya or Maiya are a landowning community found in the state of Gujarat in India. History and origin The community claim to have been settled along the banks of the Mahi river in Kheda District, so they came to be known as Maiya. The community settled in Gujarat during the rule of Sultan Mahmud Begada, and moved into Saurashtra in the 16th Century. There they established states in Wankaner and the small states of Kuwadva and Than near Rajkot. A section of the some cast Maiya converted to Islam, and are now known as the Miyana. and other rajput cast covert known as MAHIYA now they are staying in junagadh District. They rebelled against the Nawab of Junagadh in 1882, and were suppressed. As a result of the rebellion, they lost much of their land. Athletics events at the 2012 Summer Paralympics were held in the Olympic Stadium and in The Mall in London, United Kingdom, from 31 August to 9 September 2012. Classification Athletes were given a classification depending on the type and extent of their disability. The classification system allowed athletes to compete against others with a similar level of function. The athletics classifications are: *11–13: Blind (11) and visually impaired (12, 13) athletes *20: Athletes with an intellectual disability *31–38: Athletes with cerebral palsy *40: Les Autres (others) (including people with dwarfism) *42–46: Amputees *51–58: Athletes with a spinal cord disability The class numbers were given prefixes of "T", "F" and "P" for track, field and pentathlon events, respectively. Carlee Beattie
Carlee Beattie (born 9 September 1982) is an Australian Paralympic athletics competitor. A congenital arm amputee, she won the silver medal at the 2012 Summer Paralympics and a gold medal at the 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships in the Women's Long Jump. She represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics. Personal Beattie was born on 9 September 1982, and is from Warwick, Queensland, in the Brisbane area. She attended Warwick West,St Mary's, Assumption College and Warwick High School. , she is studying to be a Nutritionist at the Endeavour College of Natural Health. Ouyang Jingling (born 27 November 1987) is a Paralympic athlete from China who competes in throwing events for F37 classification athletes. Athletic career Ouyang became involved in sport in 2002, after her father noticed a talent and took her to a training session. She competed at the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens, entering the 100m and 200m sprint and the long jump, though she did not win a medal. Her first major international success came at the 2006 IPC Athletics World Championships in Assen where she won a silver medal in the 100 metre sprint (T46).
