London Olympic Stadium
London Stadium (formerly and also known as Olympic Stadium and the Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park) is a multi-purpose outdoor stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in the Stratford, London, Stratford district of London. It is located in the Lower Lea Valley, east of central London. Željko Dimitrijević
Željko Dimitrijević ( sr-Cyrl, Жељко Димитријевић; born 4 January 1971) is a gold medal-winning Paralympian athlete from Serbia. He competes in seated throws in the F51 classification, a class for quadriplegics. He is the current world record holder in club throw. At the 2012 Summer Paralympics held in London, he won a gold medal in club throw, broke a world record and became first Paralympic gold medalist for Serbia. At the 2016 Summer Paralympics, Dimitrijević won another gold medal in the same event with new world record (29.96 m). Radim Běleš
Radim Běleš (born 6 March 1973 in Ostrava) is a Czech Paralympic athlete competing mainly in category F51 club throwing and discus events. Běleš competed in the 2000 Summer Paralympics in the club throwing event, without winning a medal, he did however win a silver medal in that event in the 2004 Summer Paralympics where he also won the F32/51 discus. Lahouari Bahlaz
Lahouari Bahlaz (born 12 March 1979) is an Algerian track and field athlete who competes in disability athletics in the F32 category. Bahlaz specializes in both the discus and club throw, winning two bronze medals at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London. Athletics career Bahlaz began training as an athlete at the age of 30. His first major international competition was at the 2011 IPC Athletics World Championships in Christchurch. There he entered two throwing events the club throw and the discus winning gold in both and setting a new world record of 20.30m in the latter. He followed this by representing Algeria at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, again competing in the club throw F31/32/52 and discus F32–24. Athletics events at the 2012 Summer Paralympics were held in the Olympic Stadium and in The Mall in London, United Kingdom, from 31 August to 9 September 2012. Classification Athletes were given a classification depending on the type and extent of their disability. The classification system allowed athletes to compete against others with a similar level of function. The athletics classifications are: *11–13: Blind (11) and visually impaired (12, 13) athletes *20: Athletes with an intellectual disability *31–38: Athletes with cerebral palsy *40: Les Autres (others) (including people with dwarfism) *42–46: Amputees *51–58: Athletes with a spinal cord disability The class numbers were given prefixes of "T", "F" and "P" for track, field and pentathlon events, respectively. Raza Points System
The Raza point score system is a method in Paralympic athletics field competitions for comparing throws or jumps by athletes of differing levels of disability. In events where athletes of multiple different classifications compete, performances are converted to point scores by a formula which accounts for the athletes' classifications. This means that a more disabled athlete may beat a less disabled competitor with a slightly shorter throw or jump.
