The Women's Long Jump at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, Soviet Union had an entry list of 21 competitors, with two qualifying groups (21 jumpers) before the final (13) took place on Thursday July 31, 1980. The Top-12 and ties and all those reaching 6.50 metres advanced to the final. Jennifer Inniss
Jennifer Innis (sometimes spelled Inniss; born 21 November 1959) is a Guyanese and American former sprinter and long jumper. Innis represented Guyana at the 1979 Pan American Games. She competed in the women's 100 metres and long jump at the 1980 Summer Olympics. Innis was a finalist in the 1983 World Championships long jump, finishing eleventh. For thirty years, she held the Guyanese women's national record for 100 meters at 11.26 seconds until it was surpassed by Brenessa Thompson in 2017 with a time of 11.14 seconds. She was the model for the female bronze statue outside the Los Angeles Coliseum created by sculptor Robert Graham for the 1984 Summer Olympic Games. Margit Papp
Margit Papp (born 30 April 1948) is a Hungarian former athlete. She competed in the Summer Olympic Games in 1972, 1976 and 1980 and won the gold medal in women's pentathlon at the 1978 European Championships. Career Papp first competed in the European Championships in Budapest 1966 as an 18-year-old, placing 18th in the pentathlon. She made her Olympic debut in Munich in 1972, finishing 23rd with 4074 points. Four years later in Montréal she scored 4535 points and placed 8th. At the 1978 European Championships in Prague Papp scored 4655 points and won the gold medal. She originally placed second behind the defending champion, Nadiya Tkachenko of the Soviet Union, but moved up when Tkachenko was disqualified for doping. Papp made a final Olympic appearance in 1980, placing fifth with 4562 points. Susan Diane Reeve (née Scott; born 17 September 1951 in Birmingham, West Midlands) is a former female track and field athlete from England.
