Athiya Shetty (actress)
Athiya Shetty (born 5 November 1992) is an Indian actress who appears in Hindi films. She is the daughter of actor Suniel Shetty. Shetty debuted her acting career in the romantic action film '' Hero'' 2015 for which she won a International Indian Film Academy Awards for Hottest Pair with Sooraj Pancholi and a nomination in Filmfare award for Best Female Debut. She has since starred in '' Mubarakan'' (2017) and ''Motichoor Chaknachoor'' (2019). Early life Shetty was born on 5 November 1992 to actor Suniel Shetty and director Mana Shetty in Bombay (now Mumbai). ''Hero'' is a 1983 Indian Hindi-language romantic action film directed by Subhash Ghai. Jackie Shroff played the lead role, and achieved stardom through this film. The actress Meenakshi Sheshadri, who had been Miss India in 1981 and played the lead female role gained popularity through this movie.
