History Atenas played two seasons in the Uruguayan Primera División, 2009–10 and 2014–15. Their debut at the second level was on May 5, 2002. José Alejandro Méndez (born 28 March 1993) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Chacarita Juniors. Career Méndez began his career in 2014 with Jorge Newbery, he participated in seventeen matches and scored four times before making the move to join Primera B Nacional team Independiente Rivadavia a year later. He managed three goals in thirty-six matches for Independiente. In 2016, Méndez joined Primera División side Atlético Tucumán on loan. Emiliano Michael Ghan Carranza (born 5 June 1995) is an Uruguayan footballer who plays for Villa Española as a midfielder. Club career Ghan was born in Canelones, and was a Danubio youth graduate. Danubio Fútbol Club is a Uruguayan football club based in Jardines del Hipódromo, Montevideo that currently plays in the Uruguayan Primera División. Founded in 1932, the club's home stadium is Jardines del Hipódromo, which has a capacity of 18,000.
