Atena Pashko
Atena-Sviatomira Vasylivna Pashko (; October 10, 1931 - March 20, 2012) was a Ukrainian chemical engineer, poet, and social activist in the Ukrainian rights movement. Her published poetry collections include, ''On the crossroads'' (''На перехрестях), Volume 1'', 1989; ''On the tip of a candle'' (''На вістрі свічки)'', 1991; and ''The blade of my trail'' (''Лезо моєї стежки)'', 2007. Pashko was the Chair of the Union of Ukrainian Women (1991), and served as president of the Viacheslav Chornovil International Charitable Foundation (1999). Administratively repressed during the Soviet era, she was later a recipient of the Order of Princess Olga and the Order of Liberty. Lwów Voivodeship
Lwów Voivodeship ( pl, Województwo lwowskie) was an administrative unit of interwar Poland (1918–1939). Because of the Nazi-Soviet invasion of Poland in accordance with the secret Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact, it became occupied by both the Wehrmacht and the Red Army in September 1939. Following the conquest of Poland however, the Polish underground administration existed there until August 1944. Only around half of the Voivodeship was returned to Poland after the war ended. People's Movement Of Ukraine
The People's Movement of Ukraine ( uk, Народний Рух України, Narodnyi Rukh Ukrayiny) is a Ukrainian political party and first opposition party in Soviet Ukraine. Often it is simply referred to as the Movement ( uk, Рух, Rukh). The party under the name Rukh was an observer member of the European People's Party (EPP) until 2013. Rukh gathers most of its voters and support from Western Ukraine. In November 2016, the party had 35,000 members.
