Dely Atay-Atayan
Adelaida Fernando-Villegas (born Adelaida Marquez Fernando; March 17, 1914 – August 30, 2004), better known as Dely Atay-Atayan or Adelaida Fernando, was a Filipina comedian and singer. Her career in entertainment spanned seven decades, beginning in bodabil and ending in television. Biography Atay-Atayan was born in Tondo, Manila. One of her younger brothers, Ading Fernando, would grow up to be a prominent television comedian and director. Atay-Atayan had completed her second year in high school when she broke into showbusiness as a kundiman singer at the Palace Theater in Manila.Maniquis & Pareja, p. 205 From 1930 to 1934, she toured with a bodabil troupe, billing herself as "The Queen of Laughs". Oğuz Atay
Oğuz Atay (October 12, 1934 – December 13, 1977) was a pioneer of the modern novel in Turkey. His first novel, '' Tutunamayanlar'' (''The Disconnected''), appeared in 1971–72. Never reprinted in his lifetime and controversial among critics, it has become a best-seller since a new edition came out in 1984. Atay Aktuğ
Atay Aktuğ, is the former president of the Turkish football club Trabzonspor. Career Atay was a player for Trabzonspor in the late sixties and early seventies. He was voted in as president after his predecessor Özkan Sümer suddenly resigned in August 2003. He was re-elected in December 2004. One of the main changes he has brought about is to list Trabzonspor on the Istanbul Stock Exchange, in the hope of raising funds for the club. Under his stewardship Trabzonspor has embarked on a series of tasks to raise marketing income through sponsorship and to create a large community of members throughout Turkey and Europe. Ezel (TV Series)
''Ezel'' () is a Turkish crime thriller TV series that was initially broadcast by Show TV in fall 2009. In 2010 it was transferred to ATV. It has gained a considerably large fan base in Turkey since. Series stars Kenan İmirzalıoğlu, Cansu Dere and Yiğit Özşener in leads. Although it is set in modern-day Istanbul, filming also took place in North Cyprus, Croatia, and England. Trabzonspor
Trabzonspor Kulübü is a Turkish sports club located in the city of Trabzon. Formed in 1967 through a merger of several local clubs, the men's football team has won seven Süper Lig championships. Trabzonspor also have a women's football team, and used to have a men's basketball team. Trabzonspor are one of the most decorated clubs in Turkey. They have won seven Süper Lig titles and were the first non Istanbul-based club to win the league. They also have won nine Federation Cup (Turkish Cup) titles. The club won their first championship title in 1975–76, and won three championship titles in a row in the 1978–79, 1979–80 and 1980–81. Atai Ulaan
Atai Ulaan, in Buryat mythology, is described as the leader of 44 Tenger (sky-gods) of the eastern skies, he is the leader of an army consisting of 6,666 soldiers. His brother, Han Hormasta, is the leader of the 55 Tenger of the western skies. Known as 'Galta Ulaan', he is a common figure in Turkic mythology and the husband of Mayas Hara Toodei. Tibetan emperor and central character in the Epic of King Gesar, Abai Geser, opposed him throughout most of the Buryat story. Abai Geser eventually married Atai Ulaan's daughter, Gaguurai Nogoon. Atai Ulaan had three sons-- Sagaan Hasar Buhe, Shara Hasar Buhe, and Hara Hasar Buhe - each of them were supposedly wrestled and defeated by their father's brother's eldest son so that he could marry the Buryat, god of winter and member of the Tenger of the western sky, Segeen Sebdeg.
