Ataullah Behmanesh
Ataullah Behmanesh (Persian: ) (April 13, 1923 – July 2, 2017) was an Iranian radio and TV sportscaster, an Olympian and a sports journalist. Behmanesh was one of the oldest and most prominent Iranian sports reporters. He conducted the first live sports report in Iran over the radio in 1958 during Iranian and Iraqi national sport of athletics competitions. Behmanesh, who was 94 years old, was not in good health for years due to illness. Mehdi Taj ( fa, مهدی تاج) is an Iranian sports executive and administrator who is president of Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran since August 2022 for second term. Also he was president of the Iranian Football Federation from 2016 until 2019. As of May 2020, Mehdi has been appointed a member of the Asian Football Confederation Emergency Committee. He was previously First Vice President of Iranian Football Federation (2008–2012), President of the Iran Football League Organization (2013–2016), Secretary of the Board of Sepahan (1992–1994, 2002–2006) and president of the club (1994–1999) and Board Chairman of the Foolad Metil. Ali Daei
Ali Daei ( fa, ; born 21 March 1969) is an Iranian football manager and former player. A striker, he was the captain of the Iranian national team between 2000 and 2006 and played in the German Bundesliga for Arminia Bielefeld, Bayern Munich and Hertha Berlin. He is regarded as one of the greatest Asian footballers of all time. A tall forward, Daei was a prolific goalscorer and was known for his heading accuracy and ability in the air.
