Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio Under-23, or simply Atalanta U23, is a professional football club based in Bergamo, Lombardy, Italy, which acts as the reserve team of club Atalanta. Founded on 4 August 2023, the club competes in Serie C Group A and the Coppa Italia Serie C. History Historically, Atalanta has been known for its youth academy, both in Italy and across Europe. The Atalanta side that won the 1962–63 Coppa Italia was predominantly composed of players trained in the club's youth ranks such as Angelo Domenghini and Piero Gardoni. Additionally, many players who began their professional careers at Atalanta went on to play in Europe's most successful clubs, such as Gaetano Scirea (who would also win the 1982 FIFA World Cup with Italy). 2018–19 Serie C
The 2018–19 Serie C was the fifth season of the unified Serie C division, the third tier of the Italian football league system. Teams The league originally featured 60 teams. However, it saw the bankruptcy and subsequent withdrawal of Andria, Mestre, Reggiana and Vicenza. To fill the vacancies in Serie B, Novara, Catania and Siena became the repechage candidates from Serie C, to the objection of Pro Vercelli and Ternana. Juventus Next Gen (), also known as Juve Next Gen or Juve NG (), is a professional Association football, football club based in Turin, Piedmont, Italy, which acts as the reserve team of club Juventus F.C., Juventus. The Professional Development League is a system of youth association football, football leagues that are managed, organised and controlled by the Premier League or by the Football League. German Reserve Football Teams
German reserve football teams compete at all levels of league football within the German football league system apart from the top two divisions, the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga. The highest league these teams can currently enter is the 3. Liga, set at the third tier of the league system.
