Atalanta B.C. Youth Sector
The Atalanta B.C. Youth Sector ( it, Settore Giovanile) comprises the ''Primavera'' (under-19) team and the academy of Italian professional football club Atalanta B.C. The under-19 squad competes in the Campionato Primavera 1. The club's ''Primavera'' side has been champions of Italy four times, having last won the championship in 2019–20. The under-18 side has won the Campionato Allievi Nazionali on four occasions, most recently in the 2015–16 season. Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio, commonly referred to as Atalanta, is a professional football club based in Bergamo, Lombardy, Italy. The club plays in Serie A, having gained promotion from Serie B in 2010–11. Richard Daniel Hughes (born 25 June 1979) is a Scottish former professional footballer, who played as a defensive midfielder. He started his professional career as a junior in Italy for Atalanta before moving to Arsenal and AFC Bournemouth. He most prominently previously featured for Portsmouth from 2002 until 2011, and had a brief loan spell with Grimsby Town in 2003. After a year out of the game, Hughes signed again for Bournemouth. Valter Bonacina
Valter Bonacina (born 30 July 1964) is an Italian association football coach and former player who played as a midfielder. Career Playing career He spent the majority of his career playing for Atalanta (10 seasons, 7 of which in Serie A) and A.S. Roma (3 seasons), and retired in 2002. Giorgio Frezzolini (born 21 January 1976) is a retired Italian footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Career A Lazio youth system product, Frezzolini never played for the '' biancocelesti'' and was instead sent on loan to several minor league teams. In 1995, he was signed by Inter as a reserve choice, and then sent on loan to Serie C1 club Trapani in 1996, and Serie B side Fidelis Andria one year later. Massimo Brambilla
Massimo Brambilla (born 4 March 1973) is an Italian professional football coach and former player who is the head coach of club Juventus Next Gen. As a player, he played as an attacking midfielder. Club career Brambilla grew up in the football youth academy of Monza, and he was promoted to the first team for the 1990–91 season, taking part in the Serie C1 championship that season, and conquering Serie B promotion the year after.
