Asuka Hinoi
is a Japanese singer and actress. Biography Asuka's musical career began in 2002, when she was chosen with two other girls, Hikaru Koyama and Miho Hiroshige, to form the group LOVE & PEACE. Their song "Drifter" became the theme for the movie ''Dodge Go! Go!'' and the trio had minor roles in the movie. LOVE & PEACE, however, only that single was released. In 2003, Asuka and Hikaru, along with Yuho Fujiwara, attempted to create a group again under Vision Factory's management. The girls were models for mezzopiano and nicola, but their debut never occurred. Later in 2003, Tomoko Kawase, better known as Tommy, had seen potential in Asuka and had produced her first solo single, " ♥Wanna be your girlfriend♥", under the Sonic Groove label, a sub-label of avex trax. The song was used as the ending theme for the drama ''Ashita Tenki ni Naare''. The single only made it to position 60 on the Oricon charts but did give Asuka much needed exposure. Modern J-pop has its roots in traditional music of Japan, and significantly in 1960s pop and rock music. J-country had popularity during the international popularity of Westerns in the 1960s1970s as well, and it still has appeal due to the work of musicians like Charlie Nagatani and venues including Little Texas, Tokyo. J-rap became mainstream with producer Nujabes and his work on ''Samurai Champloo'', Japanese pop culture is often seen with anime in hip hop. Other trends ...

Dancin' & Dreamin'
''Dancin'' is a musical revue created, directed, and choreographed by Bob Fosse and originally produced on Broadway in 1978. The plotless, dance-driven revue is a tribute to the art of dance, and the music is a collection of mostly American songs, many with a dance theme, from a wide variety of styles, from operetta to jazz to classical to marches to pop. The original production received seven 1978 Tony Award nominations, with Fosse winning for best choreography. The show will receive its first-ever Broadway revival in 2023. Original Broadway production After the success of the dance-intensive ''A Chorus Line'', Fosse proposed a show with little dialogue and singing. Fosse's concept for the show was to use classical and show music, popular music, rock and roll, Mozart, Bach, George M. Cohan, and contemporary music by Neil Diamond and Melissa Manchester, anything ''except'' a new score written by a collaborator. He stated publicly that the project would free him from the burden ...
