Kepler College
Kepler College (formerly Kepler College of Astrological Arts and Sciences) is an online certificate program for the study of astrology . Based out of Seattle, Washington, U.S., it is named after the mathematician and astronomer Johannes Kepler (1571–1630). Kepler College was founded in 2000 as an unaccredited institution of higher learning.that was authorized to grant degrees from 2000 until 2010 by the Higher Education Coordinating Board of Washington State. Its programs were based in the liberal arts and it offered degrees in astrological studies with a focus on the history of astrology. National Council For Geocosmic Research
The National Council for Geocosmic Research (N.C.G.R) is a non-profit educational organization formed to promote and raise the standards of education and research in astrology. It was founded in Brewster, Massachusetts, United States, on March 6, 1971. N.C.G.R. has a membership of over 3000 and has established 40 Chapters worldwide in 26 countries. It also sponsors several Special Interest Groups, which organize monthly lectures or informal study sessions, usually led by a well known astrologer. Rosicrucian Fellowship
The Rosicrucian Fellowship (TRF) ("An International Association of Christian Mystics") was founded in 1909 by Max Heindel with the aim of heralding the Aquarian Age and promulgating "the true Philosophy" of the Rosicrucians. The Sophia Centre
The Sophia Centre was founded in the School of Historical and Cultural Studies at Bath Spa University in 2002, as the first University centre in the world to teach cultural astronomy (defined as "the study of the application of beliefs about the stars to all aspects of human culture, from religion and science to the arts and literature") and the history and culture of astrology. Background and current status In 2004, Michael York, the centre's director, was appointed the world's first professor of cultural astronomy and astrology.
