Astral (wrestler)
Astral is a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestler, for best known for his time working for the Mexico City-based professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). Initially he worked in CMLL's ''Mini-Estrella'' division, but in January 2017 it was announced that he was being moved into the "regular" division. Astral's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. Astral is one of a limited number of Mini-Estrellas whose ring character is not based on the character of a wrestler from the regular division. He is a former CMLL World Mini-Estrella Champion. Tag Team
Tag team wrestling is a type of professional wrestling in which matches are contested between teams of multiple wrestlers. Tag teams may be made up of wrestlers who normally wrestle in singles competition, but more commonly are made of established teams who wrestle regularly as a unit and have a team name and identity. In most team matches, only one competitor per team is allowed in the ring at a time. Moonsault
A moonsault, moonsault press, or back flip splash is a professional wrestling aerial technique. It was innovated by Mando Guerrero. Much of its popularity in both Japanese and American wrestling is attributed to The Great Muta, despite it being used in North America by "Leaping" Lanny Poffo years before Muta came from Japan. In a standard moonsault, which is generally attempted from the top rope, a wrestler faces away from the supine opponent and executes a backflip landing on the opponent in a splash/press position but facing towards the elevated position. Though this move is generally attempted from the top rope to an opponent lying face up in the mat, myriad variations exist, including moonsaults that see the wrestler land on a standing opponent and forcing them down to the mat. In professional wrestling, the independent circuit or indie circuit is the collective noun, collective name of independent professional wrestling promotions which are smaller than major televised promotions. The Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) has held a number of tournaments for their Mini-Estrella division since it was founded in 1992, some recurring and others a one-off tournament held for a special event. Being professional wrestling tournaments, it they are not won legitimately; they are instead won via predetermined outcomes to the matches that is kept secret from the general public. The Mini-Estrella division has been featured in a ''Ruleta de la Muerte'' (Spanish for "Roulette of Death") tournament. A ''Ruleta de la Muerte'' tournament is a tournament in which tag teams face off in a single elimination tournament, but unlike traditional tournaments it is the losing team that advances in the tournament. Jesús Guillermo Anaya Cortés is a Mexican luchador, or professional wrestler, best known by his ring name Bam Bam, a Mini-Estrella, or "Mini" wrestler. Pequeño Violencia (real name unrevealed; born July 18, 1968) is a Mexican ''Luchador'' who has worked in the Mexican ''Mini-Estrella'' division since his debut in 1990. As Pequeño Violencia he wrestles as a smaller version of professional wrestler Violencia. He previously wrestled under the ring name El Fierito, a smaller version of wrestler La Fiera.
