Astonishing Spider-Man
''The Astonishing Spider-Man'' was a comic book series published fortnightly in the United Kingdom by Panini Comics as part of Marvel UK's 'Collectors Edition' line. It reprinted selected Spider-Man stories and material from the American comic books. Format The current format is 76 pages, with three stories being printed every issue. Whilst it usually prints more modern story lines, ‘classic' tales are also used as back-up strips. The inside front cover of the comic contains a message from the editor as well as a ‘Story So Far’ section to allow lapsed readers to catch up. At the back of the comic is a letter’s page (Web-Mail) whereby readers can write in and give their views and opinions on the stories. ''The Astonishing'' is the thirteenth studio album by American progressive metal band Dream Theater, released on January 29, 2016 through Roadrunner Records. It is the band's second concept album, with a story conceived by guitarist John Petrucci and music written by Petrucci and keyboardist Jordan Rudess. Composer David Campbell assisted with orchestrating the album's strings and choirs. The band recorded their parts for the album throughout 2015 at Cove City Sound Studios in Long Island, New York, with the exception of vocals, which were recorded in Canada. Mixing and sound engineering were performed by the band's longtime collaborator, Richard Chycki, with Petrucci producing. ''The Astonishing'' is set in a dystopian future United States and follows the Ravenskill Rebel Militia in their efforts to defy the Great Northern Empire of the Americas using the magical power of music. "Secret Wars" is a 2015–16 comic book storyline published by Marvel Comics. It recalls the 1984–1985 miniseries of the same name. Released on May 6, 2015, the storyline includes a core ''Secret Wars'' miniseries, written by Jonathan Hickman and drawn by Esad Ribić, which picks up from where the "Time Runs Out" storyline running in ''The Avengers'' and '' New Avengers'' ended.
