Aston Martin DB10
The Aston Martin DB10 is a bespoke grand tourer specially developed for the ''James Bond'' film ''Spectre'' by the British luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin. The car was unveiled by Sam Mendes and Barbara Broccoli, the director and producer of ''Spectre'' respectively, the 24th James Bond film produced by Eon Productions. The unveiling took place as part of the official press launch of the film on the 007 Stage at Pinewood Studios, near London, on 4 December 2014. Mendes introduced the car as "the first cast member." Shortly after the unveiling ceremony in Pinewood Studios, Aston Martin also took part in the launch of the ''Bond in Motion'' exhibition at the London Film Museum in Covent Garden, London. Marek Paul Reichman (born 1966) is an English industrial designer currently working as Chief Creative Officer and studio head at Aston Martin. Early life and education Reichman was born in Sheffield, then in the West Riding of Yorkshire. to an English mother and Polish father who immigrated from Poland, was a blacksmith, and his family were car fanatics, sparking his interest in industrial design. He graduated from Teesside University in Middlesbrough with a 1st class Honours degree in Industrial Design, and then studied Vehicle Design at the Royal College of Art in London, as the first Land Rover student. The Aston Martin DB5 is a British grand tourer (GT) produced by Aston Martin and designed by Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera. Originally produced from 1963 to 1965, the DB5 was an evolution of the final series of DB4. Although not the first in the ''DB'' series, the DB5 is the best-known cinematic ''James Bond'' car, first appearing in the ''James Bond'' film '' Goldfinger'' (1964). The London Film Museum, founded and created by Jonathan Sands in February 2008, is a museum dedicated to the British film industry. It was previously known as The Movieum of London and was originally situated in London County Hall, County Hall, but moved to a Covent Garden location in April 2012. It exhibits original props, costumes and sets from feature films. There was originally a section on how films are made, including information on all the major studios.
