Associação Ferroviária de Esportes, commonly referred to as simply Ferroviária, is a Brazilian association football club in Araraquara, São Paulo. They currently play in the Série D, the fourth tier of Brazilian football, as well as in the Campeonato Paulista, São Paulo's premier state league. Founded on April 12, 1950, Ferroviária is the only Araraquara club to reach the Campeonato Paulista first division. The club's best campaign in that competition was in 1959, when the club finished in the third position. It is also the only club of the city to have competed in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B. The club competed in this competition in 1995. They play in carmine shirts, white shorts and socks. Estádio Dr. Adhemar de Barros, usually known as Estádio Fonte Luminosa, or just Fonte Luminosa, is a football (soccer) stadium in Araraquara, Brazil. The stadium has a maximum capacity of 25,000. It was inaugurated in 1951. The stadium is owned by the Araraquara City Hall, and its formal name honors Adhemar Pereira de Barros, who was the governor of São Paulo state from 1938 to 1941, 1947 to 1951, and 1963 to 1966. Associação Ferroviária de Esportes usually plays their home matches at the stadium. ''Fonte Luminosa'' means ''Luminous Fountain''. Diogo Mateus de Almeida Maciel (born February 13, 1993) is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a right back for Guarani. Career Diogo Mateus came through the youth ranks with Internacional. During the 2012–13 seasons, whilst with the Under-23 side, he had a loan spell with Porto B, making his senior debut on 18 August 2012 against União Madeira. He stayed in Portugal with Portimonense, signing a loan deal for the 2013–14 season, however this was not a success, and he played in only one game before returning to Brazil prematurely in December. Moacir Costa da Silva (born 14 February 1986 in Recife), simply known as Moacir, is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Vila Nova. Mainly a defensive midfielder, he can also play as a right back. Club career Moacir joined Central after being released by Sport's youth team. He turned professional with the team in 2006. In 2008 he played in Série C and Copa do Brasil with the club. He was spotted by Sport and resigned with the club in June 2008. The Campeonato Brasileiro Série C is the third tier of the Brazilian football league system. Unlike the first and second divisions, the Série C is not played in a double round robin system, arguably because many participating teams lack the financial conditions to travel long distances. Thus, the tournament is organized in regional groups and the table prevents teams from distant states from playing each other in the initial rounds. Until 2008, any professional team could apply, but only 64 teams would take part in the tournament. The teams that had been relegated from the Série B in the previous year were joined by teams qualified for each federation state.
