The Association for Human Rights in Central Asia (Eng.), Association Droits de l’Homme en Asie Centrale (Fr.), Ассоциация "Права человека в Центральной Азии" (Rus.), AHRCA is an abbreviation used in official documents of the organization and the media. The Association for Human Rights in Central Asia, also known as AHRCA, is a French independent human rights organization that conducts research on the observance of human rights in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, and also the situation of refugees from these countries. The slogan of the organization is "The right to be heard". Founded on November 8, 2006, in the city of Le Mans, Department of Sarthe, in France. Le Mans
Le Mans (, ) is a city in northwestern France on the Sarthe River where it meets the Huisne. Traditionally the capital of the province of Maine, it is now the capital of the Sarthe department and the seat of the Roman Catholic diocese of Le Mans.
