Asociación Deportiva Tarma
Asociación Deportiva Tarma, commonly referred as ADT, is a Peruvian association football club, playing in the city of Tarma, Junín. The club was founded in 1929, and currently play in Liga 1, which is the first division of the Peruvian league. History ADT were 1979 Copa Perú champions, after defeating Comercial Aguas Verdes, Defensor Lima, Deportivo Garcilaso, and Universidad Técnica de Cajamarca. The club managed to reach the National Stage of the 2010 Copa Perú, after defeating historic teams like Alianza Universidad and Unión Minas in their group; later they were eliminated by Alianza Unicachi of Puno in the semifinals. In 2011, they reached the National Stage again, but were eliminated by Alianza Universidad in the quarterfinals. After many years of irregular campaigns, in 2021, the club won Copa Perú for the second time in their history after defeating Alfonso Ugarte from Puno, achieving promotion back to Primera Division after 31 years. 2011 Copa Perú
The 2011 Copa Perú season ( es, Copa Perú 2011), the promotion tournament of Peruvian football, started on February. The tournament has 5 stages. The first four stages are played as mini-league round-robin tournaments, except for third stage in region IV, which is played as a knockout stage. The final stage features two knockout rounds and a final four-team group stage to determine the two promoted teams. The 2011 Peru Cup started with the District Stage ( es, Etapa Distrital, links=no) on February. The next stage was the Provincial Stage ( es, Etapa Provincial) which started on June. Peruvian Football League System
The Peruvian football league system is a complex system. Though the general outline includes the Liga 1, Liga 2 and Copa Perú. The Copa Perú is very large involving several stages and leagues within it. In addition, the Copa Perú is played within a year. Copa Perú
The Copa Perú is a football tournament in Peru. Despite its name, it is not entirely an elimination-cup competition involving all Peruvian clubs, but rather a series of league tournaments leading to an elimination tournament, with regional league clubs as participants. It guarantees its winner promotion to the professional Liga 2. History In 1966, the First Division was named '' Descentralizado''; teams from outside the capital of Lima were allowed to participate in the professional first division. The following year, the Copa Perú began, in which all non-professional teams in Peru were allowed to compete, with the winner to gain promotion to the First Division. After playing many elimination rounds, once six teams were left in the competition, they played in a final round-robin tournament in Lima. The club were founded 23 February 1919 and play in the Copa Perú which is the third division of the Peruvian league. 1991 Torneo Descentralizado
The 1991 Torneo Descentralizado, the top tournament of Peruvian football, was played by 41 teams in the format of Regional Tournaments, whose winner advanced to national finals. The national champion was Sporting Cristal. 1980 Torneo Descentralizado
The 1980 Torneo Descentralizado was the sixty-fourth season of Peruvian football. A total of 16 teams competed in the tournament. The season was divided into two phases. Sporting Cristal won its seventh first division title and fifth national title. Format The first stage of the tournament involves all sixteen teams playing against each other, once at home and once away. When this stage concluded, the top four teams advanced to an end-of-season playoff phase known as the Liguilla to determine the national champion. Relegation was determined by the bottom four teams of the first stage in a four-team group. The fourth-placed team was relegated and the third-placed team played a promotion/relegation playoff with the 1980 Copa Perú runner-up.
