Aska Yang
Aska Yang (, Born April 4, 1978 in Taoyuan City (now Taoyuan District), Taiwan) is a Taiwanese Mandopop singer. Education He graduated from the National Changhua University of Education (NCUE), with a major in Guidance and Counseling. During his study at NCUE, he attended singing contests and won some prizes. He is now studying a master's degree program in the Sports Psychology Department at the National Taiwan Sport University (NTSU). Music career One Million Star (2007) Aska Yang debut in Taiwan as a contestant on season one of Taiwanese TV singing contest One Million Star. He sang songs such as "再見我的愛人" (Goodbye My Love), "人質" (Hostage), "背叛" (Betrayal), "新不了情" (New Endless Love). Taoyuan District (), formerly known as Taoyuan City () prior to the establishment of the special municipality of Taoyuan in 2014, is a district of Taoyuan City in northwestern Taiwan. The municipal seat of Taoyuan City is situated within its borders. It is the most populous district among the 13 districts of Taoyuan City, and the second most populous among the districts of Taiwan, with the most populous being Banqiao District in New Taipei City. The Taipei Women’s Rescue Foundation (TWRF; Chinese：財團法人台北市婦女救援社會福利事業基金會, Simple name:婦女救援基金會), is a Taiwanese non-profit organization working to rescue and counsel female victims of human trafficking, prostitution and sexual or domestic violence. History TWRF grew out of the Taiwanese non-profit women's organization, the Awakening Foundation. In 1988, with the help of lawyers, scholars and social workers, it was established as Taipei Women’s Rescue Foundation, an anti-human trafficking mission to fight on the behalf of girls forced into prostitution. Palms Casino Resort is a hotel and casino located near the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, United States. It is owned and operated by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians. ''Crystal Boys'' (孽子, pinyin: ''Nièzǐ'', "sons of sin") is a novel written by author Pai Hsien-yung and first published in 1983 in Taiwan. In 1988, this novel went into circulation in China; its French and English translations were published in 1985 and 1989. A translation into German ("Treffpunkt Lotussee") appeared in 1995. ''Nièzǐ'' means literally "sinful sons" or "sons of sin", but it may also be an allusion to a passage in Mencius in which "friendless officials and concubine's sons" (孤臣孽子) reach positions of power because they have learned to live with a dangerous status.
