Ashton-on-Mersey School is a secondary school in Ashton upon Mersey, Greater Manchester, England. The school is an academy, part of The Dean Trust which includes Broadoak School and Lord Derby Academy in Huyton. The Customer Service Excellence, (previously the "Charter Mark") is an accreditation for organisations, intended to indicate an independent validation of achievement. History The Charter Mark was an award demonstrating the achievement of ''national standard for excellence in customer service'' in United Kingdom public sector organisations. Introduced in 1991, it was replaced in 2008 by Customer Service Excellence standard, with the last issued Charter Marks expiring in 2011. Climbing Wall
A climbing wall is an artificially constructed wall with grips for hands and feet, usually used for indoor climbing, but sometimes located outdoors. Some are brick or wooden constructions, but on most modern walls, the material most often used is a thick multiplex board with holes drilled into it. Huyton
Huyton ( ) is a town in the Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley, Merseyside, England. Part of the Liverpool Urban Area, it borders the Liverpool suburbs of Dovecot, Knotty Ash and Belle Vale, and the neighbouring village of Roby, with which it formed Huyton with Roby Urban District between 1894 and 1974. Sale is a town in Trafford, Greater Manchester, England, in the historic county of Cheshire on the south bank of the River Mersey, south of Stretford, northeast of Altrincham, and southwest of Manchester. Lord Derby Academy
Lord Derby Academy is a coeducational secondary school. It has an academy status located in Huyton in the English county of Merseyside. Previously known as Knowsley Hey High School, in 2009 the school was merged with Bowring Comprehensive School to form Huyton Sports and Arts Centre for Learning on the site of Knowsley Hey. The school was completely rebuilt under the Building Schools for the Future programme. In February 2014 the school converted to academy status and was renamed Lord Derby Academy. The school is part of The Dean Trust which also includes Ashton-on-Mersey School in Sale as well as Broadoak School and Forest Gate Academy.
