Ashtar (sometimes called Ashtar Sheran) is the name given to an extraterrestrial being or group of beings that a number of people have channeled. UFO contactee George Van Tassel was likely the first to receive an Ashtar message, in 1952. Since then, many different experiences about Ashtar have appeared in different contexts. The Ashtar movement is studied by academics as a prominent form of UFO religion. Malik al-Ashtar ( ar, مَالِك ٱلْأَشْتَر), also known as Mālik bin al-Ḥārith al-Nakhaʿīy al-Maḏḥijīy ( ar, مَالِك ٱبْن ٱلْحَارِث ٱلنَّخَعِيّ ٱلْمَذْحِجِيّ), was one of the loyal companions of Ali ibn Abi Talib, cousin of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, according to Shia Islam, Shia Muslims. According to Sunni Islam, Sunni Muslims, he was one of the people involved behind the Assassination of Uthman, murder of Uthman, the third Rashidun Caliph. According to Shia Islam, Malik remained a loyal and avid supporter of Muhammad's progeny and the Hashemite clan. He rose to a position of prominence during the caliphate of Ali and participated in several battles, such as the Battle of Jamal and Siffin against Muawiyah. is a series of action video games by Tecmo featuring the ninja Ryu Hayabusa as its protagonist. The series was originally known as in Japan. The word " gaiden" in the North American ''Ninja Gaiden'' title means "side story" in Japanese. The original arcade version, first two Nintendo Entertainment System games and Game Boy game were released as ''Shadow Warriors'' in PAL regions. Aṯtar ( ar, عثتر; Musnad: 𐩲𐩻𐩩𐩧) is an ancient Semitic deity whose role, name, and even gender varied by cultures of West Asia. Depicted as either male or female, the deity was identified with the planet Venus. In pre-Islamic South Arabia, the deity was worshipped as a god of war. Name and identity The name appears as Attar (Aramaic), Athtar ( South Arabia), Astar (Aksum), Ashtar (Moab), Aṯtar (Ugarit) and Ištar in Akkadian. In both genders, Aṯtar is identified with the planet Venus, the morning and evening star, in some manifestations of Semitic mythology. The deity is also connected to the Hellenistic goddess Astarte.
